The HOBBY & ART WORK technique of casting beeswax is a complete handicraft system. All materials are carefully selected and matched.

Your own individual artistic deslgn for candles and other wax-cast objects is made possible by foilowing our various examples and suggestions.

Casting candles and other objects from beeswax with our moulds is qulte simple. You will recelve extremely detalled and precise casts. The moulds are hlghly flexlble, heat-resistant, wear-resistant and long-lasting. They are easy to use. No pre-treatment of the mould is required. The finished objects can easily be removed from the mould.

The application of the Wax Finish Colour is recommended if you wish an authentic and rustic appearance of your candles, figurines and reliefs. Apply Finish Colour on entire relief or figurine. Candles can be painted entirely. Alternatlvely, paint decorations and motifs only, in order to set these off.

You will achieve a valuable appearance of your candles, reliefs and flgurines, by gilding them with our Decorative Gold Powder after the application of Wax Finish Colour. You may prefer to cover the entire object wlth a light gleam of gold powder or apply it on the decoratlons and motifs only.

Applylng our special Paints - which can also be mixed - wlll give your objects your own artistic touch.

By applying liquid Glitter Paint you will achieve a beautifully effective shade of gold, copper or lime. You may wish to cover the entire object or apply it on those parts you wlsh to emphasize.

Using pulverized Glitter available in gold or snow, especially on all kinds of objects designed for Christmas, wlll result in an enchanting and shimmering play of colours and gloss.

With Star-Shaped Sequins, various beeswax candles can be wonderfully decorated. They are available in gold, pink and white-iris.

The application of Wax Finish Lacquer (sealer) is recommended for each object made of beeswax in order to prevent a change in colour after some time. A very thin layer is sufficient.

1. Insert the candle wick in the centre of bottom part of mould and allow approx. 1" for top of the candle.
2. Turn mould upright and use several rubberbands for tight closure. Note, the mould stands now on top of 1" wick allowance.
3. Pull wick through wickholder. Make sure wick is the centre and pulled tight.
4. Ready to pour, after the excess wick has been cut above the wickholder.
5. Pour the heated wax.
The wax temperature should not exceed 165° Fahrenheit (75° Celsius) to avoid shrinkage while cooling.
6. Candle removing.
Be certain the mould is completely cold before you remove the wickholder and the rubber bands. Now open mould and look at your creation.
