Wire crimper, with special plastic handle and tempered steel rolls, essential for stretching and waving the wire after reinforcement.
The wire crimper, tool is as simple as it is indispensable. Once the wire has been inserted into the frames (armor), the crimper will make the wire wavy, in order to increase the contact surface with the wax sheet, reducing the blade effect of the wire and increasing the hold of the wax sheet on the frame.
Without the use of a professional crimper, the wax will tend not to fix properly on the frame, risking to ruin the honeycomb during the honey extraction operations.
