Excluder for one brood frame to combat varroa with an organic method. For Dadant brood frames.

A single frame is inserted inside this cage, in order to isolate the queen and allow the brood only on this frame.
Natural method to combat varroa, as the reproductive cycle of varroa occurs only in the cells with the brood.

By confining the queen to a single empty brood frame ready for laying, the queen bee will lay its eggs only on this frame and, consequently, the varroa will reproduce only on the larvae of this frame.

Once this frame is full of brood and operculate, it will also be full of varroa and can be removed and destroyed, eliminating all the new generation of parasites.

The excluder is a cage formed by steel queen excluders.

Using the queen-excluder grid allows other bees to circulate within the hive, instead preventing the queen from getting out.

The surface on which the queen can move is sufficient to circulate her pheromone in the family and not to create the orphan family effect.
