Large Double filter in stainless steel for 200-400kg ripeners, composed of 3 parts: stainless steel roughing filter, finisher bag in 275 micron nylon cloth and bearing structure ø 470 mm with steel supports.
With the addition of an extra support (art.6220102) it can also be used on the 500 kg ripener with total discharge, ø 700 mm.
Necessary to filter the honey after honey extraction, to remove the impurities present inside the honey, such as pieces of wax, wood residues of the frames and organic parts of insects.
Once extracted, the honey must then be filtered before passing to the ripener for decanting.
The nylon cloth bag allows a very effective filtering, specially designed for honey. The filter and the folding supports are in food-grade stainless steel, in full compliance with the regulations on equipment in contact with food.
The nylon cloth bag and the steel filter can be replaced and purchased separately.
The external supports are made of steel so filter will resist the weight of the honey during processing, without risks of breaking or falling into ripener.
Like ripener, this filter is made within the Lega factory, which makes it Made in Italy but above all Made in Lega.
