The capping squeezer is a machine consisting of a horizontal polyethylene screw with a variable pitch groove which, controlled by a very powerful gear motor, rotates slowly inside a stainless steel cage and gently compresses operculum, squeezing the honey without damaging it with excessive pressure.
The operculum squeezer machine is suitable for large honey processing laboratories, when the number of hives to be uncapped, and therefore to be squeezed to separate the wax from the honey, is very high.
The capping squeezer is positioned under the uncapping machine, in order to continuously collect the capsules, which will be squeezed.
The dried wax will come out from the side, collected and ready to be melted;
the honey will instead come out through the holes, dripping towards the collection tank ready to be worked together with the honey from the combs.
It can also be used to squeeze honey from honeycombs containing honeys that cannot be centrifuged.
