Professional Uncapping machine "DV 4". Professional beekeepers need a professional uncapping machine. The DV 4 uncapping machine is the evolution of an excellent concept created in Australia over 40 years ago and extremely successful ever since. This compact, sturdy machine is an application of the same basic idea, with, however, improved technology and construction materials. It has been designed to perfectly uncap honeycombs and make frame loading and unloading operations easier. The combs are loaded in bulk onto the top feeding magazine, equipped with motor-driven stainless steel chains that automatically convey the combs, one by one, to the uncapping station. Uncapping is obtained when the combs are fed through two hot water circulation, horizontally swinging (noiseless oscillation) serrated knives. The machine has a built-in hot water unit.The cutting depth can be adjusted and the knives can also work under the wooden frames. The DV4 machine is entirely made from stainless steel, laser cut and machined to perfection. We can supply this machine pre-set for Dadant or Langstroth frames.
