Royal jelly and pollen
Royal jelly and pollen can be considered two products of the hive. Pollen is collected from the bee carrying it to the hive where it is stored by the worker bees and covered with honey to avoid contact with the air. Over time the technique of collecting pollen has evolved and today we use special traps that collect it before it enters the hive.
Royal jelly, secreted by the worker bees and also known as the queen's food, is a slightly sugary substance that can be sucked through the use of special vacuum cleaners.
